XML and Archiving Policy

Cancer Biome and Targeted Therapy is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and discoverability of its published content.

All accepted articles are converted into JATS XML format compliant with PubMed Central (PMC) technical requirements. These XML files are stored securely and will be submitted to PMC once the journal meets its inclusion criteria. XML metadata is also available via the OAI-PMH interface of our Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, enabling indexing and harvesting by services such as DOAJ, Crossref, and institutional repositories.

Cancer Biome and Targeted Therapy is hosted on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, developed and maintained by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) with daily backups, digital preservation, and archiving on the PKP Preservation Network using the LOCKSS Program. This ensures that published content remains permanently accessible even in the event of website or system failure.

We are also working toward indexing in major abstracting and archiving databases, including PMC, DOAJ, Google Scholar, and Clarivate Web of Science.
